You can still have the medical but your panel physician will counsel you on the risks and benefits of having a chest X-ray done during pregnancy. Your case will be submitted after you have the required chest x-ray following the birth of your baby.
You are not required to fast before your appointment but applicants over the age of 5 will need to submit a urine sample, so please be prepared for this and arrive with a full bladder.
Your blood sample is tested for HIV, Syphilis & Creatinine. If you have certain medical conditions, additional blood tests may be done but this will be discussed with you by your Panel Physician.
You are able to have a chaperone for the full length of the exam. This can be either one of our caring staff members to help you feel comfortable through the process, or someone of your choice that you bring with you.
Our panel physicians usually submit cases within 5-10 days of your exam being done. All results are sent directly to IRCC. If you have any questions related to your immigration status following this time period, please contact IRCC directly and not our office.
You can click here to order a copy of your complete Immigration Medical Exam for a fee of $20.

In these cases IRCC requires more information (sometimes further tests or assessments) in order to process your documents. You can book a Furtherance appointment with one of our Panel Physicians who will be happy to help you.
